Hello Hello!
Emmy J. Lane (she/her) was originally named Penny after the Beatles song “Penny Lane” but changed her name to be more original. Just kidding! But how cool would that be!
Emmy J. graduated from the University of Southern California with a B.A in Theater and a minor in Musical Theatre. Now based in NYC, she is a recent graduate of the Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester for Fall 2023, where she had the pleasure of learning from and performing in numbers choreographed by James Alonzo, Luis Salgado, and Miles Keeney.
Recent productions performed in include of Body of Faith (Ensemble) by Luis Alfaro, and Dog Sees God (Marcy). She recently had the opportunity be the dance captain for Into the Woods, (choreographed by Kate Dunn) and Urinetown, (choreographed by Dana Solimando) during her time at USC. She is the co-founder of and choreographer for Virtual Cue, an educational theatre company in the Washington D.C. area that was founded to provide safe, virtual, theatrical opportunities to students during the pandemic, and has transitioned to in person production opportunities.
